our story
floranda started in 2021 under the name floranda pastries, a small bakery side business with big brick and mortar dreams! floranda is run by husband and wife duo neil and ashley (hi!). we are so happy you are here with us!
neil has a background in hospitality management and has been cooking professionally for almost 10 years! he started his baking journey back in 2019 with an amazing mentor who inspired him to continue learning on his own.
I (ashley) have a career in interior design and a background in photography. I manage all of the marketing and visual aspects of the business, and let neil manage the kitchen. we can’t wait to start implementing our design ideas for the future floranda storefront!

our home acts as a sanctuary for good food and lasting memories. our sun symbolizes the community of filipino family and friends all over the world. lastly, our pearl reflects our history, our roots, and our tradition. together, we hope to continue creating a space where all are welcome to join us in eating some delicious food and interesting conversation.
